The new cold store Constructor designed and installed in close consultation with Orkla has approximately 3,300 square feet of floor space and an internal ceiling of 11.5 metres, taking pallet capacity up to 10,500 with innovative eight-high stacking options.
It’s a high building and the Mobile Pallet Racking (MOVO) system installed makes use of the vertical and horizontal space. The MOVO system reached almost to the ceiling and delivers a total of 12,500 pallet places.
Constructor’s response includes pallet racking and cantilever storage above conveyor belts to maximise the use of available space.
