Constructor has provided two blocks of pallet shelving and two shuttle wagons, including remote control options and a charging station for batteries. From the site’s warehouses, pallets run into the shuttle warehouse and are placed in front of the various rails.
The Constructor Pallet Shuttle system could have been tailor-made to alleviate the problem that HIT Trading, and many similar operations faced: to make their storage more efficient.
The ideal solution to satisfy all the elements was a Pallet Shuttle system. This offered 4 sections, on 3 levels and provided 540 pallet locations, all fully accessible by the Shuttle.
The new shuttle installation has allowed for an increase in capacity; allowing the warehouse to hold 600 tonnes of raw material – a three-fold increase.
MOVO is an electronically controlled system which runs on in-ground rails and can carry bay loads of up to 24 tons at racking heights of up to 12 meters, ideal for use in cold storage rooms.
